Immuron revealed that IMM‑124E—the active component used in its commercially available colostrum‑based products Travelan® and Protectyn®—demonstrated neutralizing activity against SARS-CoV-2 in an in vitro assay conducted by 360 Biolabs using the virus strain from Melbourne’s Peter Doherty Institute. Following this finding, the company raised A$28 million (USD $20 million) from institutional investors to fund further R&D, preclinical and clinical studies, support marketing efforts, and provide working capital.
